Drop off a sleeping bag, blanket, coat or pair of socks at our office this winter, and help someone sleeping rough in Perth stay warm.
Every winter, The Salvation Army WA collects sleeping bags and essential warm items for West Australians sleeping rough. This year, REIWA's Community REInvest program has brought together real estate agencies across Perth to act as official collection points, and Noble Avenue is proud to be one of them.
From 1 June to 3 July 2026, our office is an official drop-off point. Bring in what you can. The Salvation Army will collect everything and distribute it directly to people in need.

It's easy to assume homelessness is something that happens to other people, in other places. The data tells a different story.

According to May 2025 data from The Salvation Army, the overall trend shows a steep increase in the number of rough sleepers since early 2024. And winter makes everything harder.
"We often don't think about how easy it can be to become homeless. All it takes is a serious car accident, business failure, relationship breakdown, unemployment or bad health to change the direction of your life."
- Suzanne Brown, REIWA President
A sleeping bag can serve as a blanket, a bed, a pillow, a place to sit while eating, and temporary shelter. For someone sleeping rough, it can be the most important thing they own.
"It's a sad reality that they often need to replace these items on a regular basis due to them being stolen, or losing them when they are being moved on or if the areas where they are sleeping are cleaned before they can retrieve their belongings."
- Warren Palmer, The Salvation Army WA State Manager External Communications
