Remember the incredible wall of donation boxes stretching across our Hillarys office frontage? We'd love to see it again!

At Noble Avenue Real Estate, community has always been at the heart of what we do.

Each year, Noble Avenue Real Estate proudly supports Foodbank WA through our Reverse Advent Calendar initiative, bringing together our neighbours, clients, friends and the wider Perth northern suburbs community.

Our 2026 boxes have arrived, and there are three easy ways to get involved:

  • Collect a box: Pick one up from our Hillarys office, fill it with food and everyday essentials, then return it to us by Friday 4th December.
  • Drop off individual items: Our purple Foodbank donation bins are ready to receive contributions, big or small.
  • Donate online: Support Foodbank WA through our fundraising page.

And if you're unable to donate, sharing the initiative with friends, family or your local community is another wonderful way to help.

Our office is located at 2/46 Angove Dr, Hillarys.

What is a Reverse Advent Calendar?

A Reverse Advent Calendar turns the traditional Christmas countdown into an opportunity to give.

Instead of receiving a treat each day, you add an item to a donation box. It might be a pantry staple, a household essential or something special for the festive season.

You can add one item each day or fill your box all at once. Once complete, return it to our Hillarys office, where the donations will be collected for Foodbank WA.

It's a simple way to turn everyday groceries into something meaningful for another household.

What should you put in your Foodbank WA donation box?

Not sure what to include? Foodbank WA's most-wanted items include everyday essentials such as pasta, rice, cereal, long-life milk, canned meals, vegetables, fruit, soup and pantry staples.

There are also some items you might not immediately think of:

  • Dietary alternatives: Gluten-free and vegan products.
  • Baby essentials: Nappies and other suitable everyday supplies.
  • Household necessities: Toilet paper and washing products.
  • Meal ingredients: Pasta sauces, spreads, jams and meal bases.

A few helpful tips: Choose non-perishable products with intact packaging that are within their expiry dates. Think about useful items that can help someone put together a complete meal, rather than just individual snacks.

You don't need to spend much. A few extra items added to your regular supermarket shop can make a meaningful contribution.Website banners (2500 x 1080 px) (13)

Why your support matters

Food insecurity is affecting households across Western Australia, including families in the communities we call home.

According to Foodbank WA, 371,000 WA households ran out of food in the past year. Foodbank WA also sourced enough food for more than 9.2 million meals last year.

Christmas can be particularly challenging for households already managing rising living expenses.

Our Reverse Advent Calendar gives our local community an opportunity to offer practical support during a time when many families need it most.

A little generosity goes a long way: Our community's impact

In 2024, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, Noble Avenue Real Estate was recognised as the #2 Food Drive Fundraiser for Foodbank WA.

Together, we filled 250 boxes, creating an incredible display of donations stretching across our office frontage before they were loaded onto the Foodbank truck.

Our community continued that generosity in 2025, contributing more than 200 boxes.

These achievements belong to everyone who collected a box, purchased an item, encouraged a neighbour to participate or helped us spread the word.

In 2026, we'd love to reach 250 boxes again, or even surpass it!

Can your family, workplace or community group get involved?

Absolutely!

You don't have to participate alone. Why not make it a shared activity?

Families can fill a box together, colleagues can organise a workplace collection, and local community groups or sporting clubs can encourage members to contribute a few items each.

It's a lovely way to get children involved in giving back, bring a workplace together or turn a neighbourhood effort into something bigger.

If you'd like to organise a group collection, please get in touch with our team.
