Things to Do in Burns Beach This August

Burns Beach Sunset Walk with Befriend

Every Friday in August | 4.30pm – 5.45pm (start time shifts slightly to match sunset) | Burns Beach Coastal Walking Path, 35 Ocean Parade, Burns Beach

Join Befriend's weekly sunset walk along the sealed coastal path, returning as the sun goes down. Walk at your own pace, meet the local community, and take in the coastline.

Look for the yellow Befriend flag. Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. Dogs on lead welcome.

Local tip from Jay Dass: There are plenty of benches along the way if you'd prefer to sit and take in the views while the group comes back around, that's perfectly fine.

Hillarys Evening Walk

Group walking the coastal path from Hillarys Marina to Watermans Bay

A free 3km-each-way coastal footpath walk from Hillarys Marina to Watermans Bay and back, with optional dinner and drinks at Grill'd Burgers afterwards. All ages welcome, children must be supervised, no pets. No booking, just turn up at 6.15pm sharp, walking starts 6.30pm. Still on if raining, bring a rain coat.
