Christmas is arriving early at Karrinyup, with plenty of festive activities for the whole family throughout November.
The celebrations kick off on Sunday 1 November from 11:45am, with Santa making his grand arrival at midday, followed by a festive parade, community choir and dance performances, and the lighting of Perth's tallest Christmas tree on the West Deck at sunset.
Families can also step aboard The Polar Express, a free, immersive Christmas experience running Thursday to Sunday throughout November.
Inspired by the much-loved Christmas story, the 30-minute interactive journey takes visitors through a spectacular 20-metre-long train, complete with storytelling, festive surprises and a Christmas craft workshop where children can create their own keepsake to take home.
The Polar Express experience is free, but bookings are essential as places are limited.
Local tip from Shirley Heslip: "If you're planning to take the kids, I'd definitely book The Polar Express in advance rather than leaving it until the day. And if you're heading in for Santa's arrival on the 1st, get there a little earlier to find a good spot and get parking. It's always a busy time of year at Karrinyup!"
