Following a strong start to the year, both Hillarys and Sorrento began to show signs of normalising through the second quarter of 2026. As more properties came to market, home open attendance softened and homes generally took longer to sell than earlier in the year - pricing and presentation became the deciding factor.
Well-presented homes priced in line with buyer expectations continued to attract strong interest, while overpriced properties spent longer on market and were more likely to see a price adjustment. Both suburbs continue to benefit from their desirable coastal lifestyle and long-term appeal.
